Hide and Seek

Lion

Kenya - 2023

A lion cub exudes curiosity as it peeks over a fallen tree trunk, its eyes wide with wonder.

Once roaming freely across Africa in great numbers, lions now face a future of shrinking habitats and rising threats, with populations having declined by nearly half in the past 25 years. Each image is not only a celebration of their raw power and beauty, but also a call to protect these guardians of the savannah—so that their roar continues to echo across Africa for generations to come.
